Family is important to Derek Overstreet. After spending 10 years in Chicago building a $120 million financial services firm, he left it all to move back to his home state of Utah and spend more time with his family.

Now, as the President of New Millennium in Sandy, Utah, Derek makes your family a priority as well. For more than 28 years he has been helping people with their financial needs, helping ensure they’re able to protect their wealth, achieve more of their retirement income goals, and establish greater financial confidence for their later years.

Derek is passionate about helping people find and understand suitable, income guaranteed* strategies that can help them achieve their financial goals. He believes in empowering his clients with information that brings them more confidence in their financial decision making. It’s the reason he founded New Millennium back in 1999.

Clayton Alexander

Clayton Alexander was New Millennium’s second team member when he joined the firm in 2012. Since then, Clayton has been involved in every aspect of building the company and growing the team. His business experience has resulted in his current dual roles as director of operations and investment adviser representative.

Clayton has more than a decade of experience working in the investment and insurance industry. He entered the field in 2008, working at both Northwestern Mutual and Goldman Sachs, gaining valuable insight and knowledge. He was drawn to New Millennium because he wanted to join an independent fiduciary firm that focused on tailoring retirement plans to each client.

As an Investment Adviser Representative, Clayton focuses on building holistic retirement plans. His goal is to uncover each client’s specific concerns and provide effective solutions to issues related to income, tax and estate planning. Clayton’s mission is to make a meaningful difference in his clients’ lives by creating personal strategies for each individual and informing clients about retirement planning.

Clayton and his wife, Alex, live in Park City, Utah, with their two daughters, Charly and Andi. Away from the office, his family can often be found participating in a variety of outdoor activities, including skiing, soccer and boating.

Clayton graduated from Dixie State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is licensed for life and health insurance in the state of Utah and has passed the Series 65 securities exam.

Doug Ferrell

Doug Ferrell

Doug Ferrell has a passion for helping people pursue their financial goals. He spent a significant part of his career channeling that passion into developing and growing successful business enterprises, including helping a local fulfillment company increase revenues from $1 million to $100 million annually. As a business consultant, Doug has helped a variety of companies reduce costs and streamline operations.

Doug switched gears in 2014, focusing his efforts on helping individuals work toward their personal financial goals. In his role as a financial representative, Doug helps clients build strategies to get them to and through retirement. His personal mission is to develop retirement income plans for clients’ specific needs and create strategies that allows them to retire with confidence. To accomplish these goals, Doug specializes in retirement, income strategies and Social Security.

Doug and his wife, Michelle, live in Bountiful, Utah, and they have five children and four grandchildren. While he enjoys personally participating in all kinds of sports and outdoor activities, Doug’s greatest joy is coaching his children and grandchildren in their various sports and helping them succeed on and off the court.

Doug is a graduate of the University of New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He holds life and health insurance licenses in the state of Utah and has passed the Series 65 exam.

Bill King

Bill King discovered New Millennium Group when helping his father sign up for his VA benefit. Derek Overstreet helped Bill’s father receive his benefit while also providing him with a suitable place to invest his money that allowed him use the funds to help with his healthcare costs.

Helping people as Derek helped his father appealed to Bill, so he joined the New Millennium team in 2010, just in time for the opening of the St. George office.

Bill holds an Associate of Arts in criminal justice and a Bachelors of Arts in business as well as life and health insurance licenses in Utah.

Bill and his wife have eight children.

Jessica Kirkham

Jessica joined New Millennium Group after working for the Utah court system and a local law firm. Her time management skills make her an asset on our client services team, where she helps ensure client questions and issues get resolved. Jessica truly enjoys connecting with clients and meeting their needs.

In her free time, Jessica loves to read and spend time with her two daughters. She enjoys taking walks with her family and vacationing in the mountains.

A hard worker with a positive outlook, Alisha has been with our firm since 2016. She greets clients, books appointments and keeps our calendar updated in order to ensure a smooth-running operation.

Alisha loves meeting new people and is great at making clients feel welcome and comfortable. Her retail background helped her to refine her customer-service skills, which she uses to effectively exceed our clients’ expectations every day.

Alisha has been married for 10 years and has three kids. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and making new memories and traditions.

Myles Overstreet

In his role as a member of the client service team, Myles Overstreet’s goal is to ensure clients’ needs are met as efficiently and effectively as possible. He is passionate about having a hand in seeing others leave the office in genuinely improved spirits with renewed strategies for their financial futures.

The son of New Millennium Group’s founder, Derek Overstreet, Myles grew up watching his dad build the firm. Now, Myles is fulfilling his lifelong dream of working for the family business, while also working toward his degree at Utah Valley University.

Residing in Orem, Utah, Myles can be found outside the office at church on Sundays, watching football, and spending time with his wife, Mackenzie.

Savanna Toussaint

A notary public, Savanna joined our client services team in 2017. She services existing clients’ accounts, makes deliveries, coordinates annual reviews and prepares retirement baskets.

For fun, Savanna enjoys camping, hiking, dancing, cooking, reading and playing with her pup. The oldest of five children, Savanna also likes spending time with her family, people she considers her best friends.
